Creating an email campaign

This guide walks you step by step through creating an email campaign, from the content to the send.

1. Compose the content

Two starting points:

  • Start from an existing template in your template library (see Media library and templates), then adapt it.
  • Or compose freely in the block editor: text, images, buttons, columns, and cross-hub blocks coming from other hubs (a product with its payment link, an event to book).

Variables personalize each copy — the contact's first name, company properties, properties from your custom objects.

2. Choose the recipients

Three targeting modes are available for a campaign:

  1. Segments — a dynamic segment already defined in the CRM.
  2. Lists — a static list of contacts.
  3. AI suggestion — the most relevant contacts based on their actual activity (opens, clicks, recent interactions), suggested automatically by AI.

Only contacts who have given their email consent are eligible for targeting.

3. Check the preview

Before sending, a true-to-life preview shows you exactly how the campaign will look, variables included. Take the opportunity to check which sender is being used (see Domains and senders).

4. Send

Send immediately or schedule the send. The campaign goes out within the daily sending capacity of your plan:

  • Discovery: 200 emails per day
  • Professional: 10,000 emails per day
  • Enterprise: 50,000 emails per day

5. Track the statistics

Once the campaign has gone out, you can view its statistics: opens, clicks, unsubscribes, as well as the sign-ups and deals attributed to it.

tip

Every link inserted into the campaign is tagged automatically (UTM) to feed your marketing attribution — there is nothing for you to configure.
