Automatic provisioning by MAC address
A Yealink phone configures itself automatically from its MAC address, with no technical work on your part: once the phone is declared and connected to the network, it picks up its configuration (number, line, settings) on its own.
Directory
The phone gets a directory synchronized with your contacts and colleagues, as well as built-in shortcuts for quickly dialing the numbers used most often.
Working alongside the softphone
Desk phones and the browser softphone work together without conflict: they can be assigned to the same person or to different people, depending on your needs. With simultaneous ringing, an incoming call can ring the desk phone and the softphone at the same time — the first to be answered takes the call.
You do not have to choose: many teams keep the softphone for mobility and add Yealink desk phones at the desks that receive the most calls.
