Connect ChatGPT and Claude to Metaventus
Metaventus is available in ChatGPT and in Claude. Once connected, your AI assistant can find your contacts and companies, prepare a record, look for a time slot or book a meeting — with your permissions, and only the ones you grant it.
The connection goes through the Metaventus MCP server (Model Context Protocol, the open standard that connects AI assistants to your tools). It is available for every Metaventus account, at no extra subscription cost.
Connect Claude
- In Claude, open Settings › Connectors.
- Browse connectors, search for Metaventus and click Connect.
- Sign in to Metaventus if needed, then choose your permissions (see below) and confirm.
Connect ChatGPT
- In ChatGPT, open Settings › Apps (or Apps & Connectors).
- Search for Metaventus and click Connect.
- Sign in to Metaventus if needed, then choose your permissions and confirm.
Any assistant that accepts a remote MCP server can connect using the address
https://mcp.metaventus.com/mcp. You'll find it, with a Copy button, in
My profile › AI applications.
The permissions you grant
When you connect, Metaventus shows the app requesting access and, for each area, lets you choose Read and write, Read only or No access:
| Area | Read | Write |
|---|---|---|
| CRM | View your contacts and companies, their notes and their history | Create and edit records, add notes, link a contact to a company — no deletion |
| Meetings | View your meeting types, your free time slots and your meetings | Create, move, edit or cancel a meeting, manage invitees — invitees are notified |
The assistant announces every write action and asks for your approval before carrying it out. It can't permanently delete a record, run bulk operations or send messages.
Security
- Your permissions, nothing more: the assistant only sees and does what your role allows you in Metaventus, and only in the workspace chosen when connecting.
- Secure connection: OAuth 2.1; Metaventus never shares your password with the assistant.
- Log: every action by the assistant is recorded (tool, record concerned, app) and can be viewed by your administrators.
- Expiry: a connection left unused for 90 days expires on its own.
- Guest roles can't connect an AI assistant.
View and disconnect your assistants
- You: My profile › AI applications lists the connected assistants; Disconnect cuts off access immediately.
- Administrators: Admin Center › AI applications lets you turn access on or off for the whole organization, limit it to read-only, see every connection and view the action log.
