Building the product catalog
The catalog is the foundation of your quotes and invoices: each product or service is defined there only once, with its price, its tax and its full record.
Creating a product or a service
- Go to Sales → Catalog and create a new product (or a service, for something without stock).
- Enter its SKU, its photos and a description.
- File it under a category and, if needed, link it to a brand.
- Choose its official tax category, which determines the VAT rate applied.
Variants by attribute
For a product that comes in several variants (size, color, capacity, etc.), create variants: each one has its own SKU, its own price and, if you track stock, its own inventory. A quote directly references the exact variant sold.
Purchase prices and margins
Enter the purchase price of each product or variant to manage your margin — shown in euros or as a percentage, line by line on your quotes and invoices. Useful for knowing, at the point of sale, what you are actually making.
Advanced pricing
Beyond a fixed price, the catalog also supports:
- flat rates and price tiers based on quantity,
- recurring billing (subscription) with a trial period,
- cross-sell suggestions between related products.
Official tax categories ensure that each product applies the right VAT rate on your quotes and invoices, with no manual setting to redo on every document.
