Getting paid with payment links
Add a payment link to your quotes and invoices: your customer pays by card, and payment is tracked directly on the document.
Two ways to take payment
- Your own Stripe account — connect your existing account over OAuth; payments go straight to you, at standard Stripe fees.
- Metaventus managed account — you do not have a Stripe account: a guided KYC process enables payment collection for you, with no infrastructure to set up on your side. A service commission is added to the payment fees.
You can switch between the two at any time from the billing settings.
Adding a link to a document
- Open a quote or an invoice.
- Enable the payment link — it is added automatically to the online page and to the email sent to the customer.
- The customer pays in a few clicks, without leaving the document.
Tracking payments
The payment status (pending, paid) updates automatically on the invoice as soon as the payment is confirmed, and stays visible in the history of the customer record.
tip
A payment link can also accompany a product block in a newsletter, turning a campaign into a direct sales channel.
